About Jean Jeanie

Jean Jeanie Yurt is positioned high on its own wooden deck with views out over the surrounding woodland and trees. Named after the famous trad climbing route in the nearby Trowbarrow Quarry. Stay in amongst an area of outstanding natural beauty and have nature right on your doorstep. Decorated in a vintage woodland theme. The yurts are fully insulated with cosy log burner guaranteed to keep you warm all year round. The yurts has all the comforts you need, a home from home but right in amongst beautiful wild surroundings. Just pack up your clothes and food and bring your family and friends on a mini adventure.

For and extra treat  the wood fired hot tub can be booked along side Jean Jeanie Yurt to make your stay a true glamping experience.

A covered veranda with outdoor kitchen, double gas hob and all cooking utensils, pots, pans plates etc needed for your stay. Outside the yurt is seating areas shared BBQ and pizza oven (sharing with other yurt guests only) and fire pit. Nearby is a composting toilet (shared by other yurt guests only) and drinking water tap. Fresh bedding is provided (towels not included)

1 complimentary bag of logs, kindling, firelighters is provided to get you started. Any more wood needed can be brought or buy from the campsite. £4.00 for a large bag. To protect the environment only bought logs to burned on outdoor campfires please do not scavenge wood from the ground.


Guest access

The yurt is part of the family run campsite 250 metres walk is hot showers and toilet, campsite kitchen with shared fridge available for use and sink with hot water for washing up.

Guests can buy free range eggs and pork direct from the farm from our herd of rare breed Gloucester old spots pigs and our free range ducks and hens. For more info click the link Hawes Villa Campervan Site

Wood can also be purchased from the farm for campfires and the wood burning stoves, guests are also welcome to bring their own.


Other things to note

Free parking is situated on the main campsite there is no vehicle access to the yurts its is 250 metre walk from where you park the car. Wireless internet is only available at the main campsite not at the yurts themselves

Facilities

1 composting toilet is shared between the two yurts.

Mains toilets  & 2 x showers located 250m away on main campsite. Campsite kitchen where tea and coffee making facilities, shared fridge and hot water with sink for washing up 250m away on campsite

Log burners both have fire guards, fire blankets, CO2, fire alarm.

Lighting led lights

Kitchen area has gas hob (gas included) with all pots, pans, kettle and  kitchen utensils you should need.

Eggs and sausages available to buy from the farm

Pizza oven and bbq is shared facility

 

With a booking guests get 1 x bag of logs, some firelighters and kindling in the yurt. Anymore needed they can buy or bring themselves.

We sell logs, kindling and firelighters. Logs are £4 a bag.
